Even though my practice is based in Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida, I have had many clients hire me who live outside the Clearwater area and indeed outside of the State of Florida. In this day and age, people move from state to state quite frequently and sometimes their legal issues must be resolved in a location other than the one in which they live. Although I am based in Pinellas County, Florida and have the majority of my cases there, I have represented client's in many different courthouses in Michigan and Florida. I usually have cases pending in Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough counties.

When a client lives out of state, most of the legal work involved in conducting a case can be handled via telephone, fax, and/or e-mail. While sometimes there is no choice other than for a client to make a personal appearance at the Courthouse where the case is pending, I am sensitive to the needs and time constraints of my clients and make every effort to make the working relationship as convenient as possible to the client.

Sometimes an attorney who represents a client in one area needs to associate with an attorney who works out of the Tampa Bay area. When that happens, with the client's consent, the referring attorney is kept informed of the progress of the case.
